In broad terms the 727 is under powered electrically in the event of a generator / generators failure. Where possible try to reduce the loads. Here are some typical figures for some components. Keep an eye on the loads. Pay attention to Bus 2.

To bring the situation under control very quickly I tend to work in the following order. 1 Pack, Galley Power, Gasper Fan, Lav Water Heaters, Aft Cargo Blankets, This removes approx 24 KW straight away. Subjet to conditions, then remove a B pump, some cabin lighiting and window heat. (note any limitations) These few will give a good 40 KW saving.
